Raising a Reader: Modernizing a Beloved National Literacy Brand
Raising a Reader engaged us to redesign its beloved brand, website, illustrations and collateral while preserving the trust built through its iconic “red bag” early literacy program. I led a thoughtful brand evolution, introducing a vibrant logo and visual system that reflects the organization’s warmth, energy, and commitment to families. We clarified messaging to articulate a compelling vision for shared reading and parent engagement, supported by a scalable toolkit of templates and illustrations. The redesigned, accessibility-first website unified brand and storytelling and positioned Raising a Reader as a contemporary leader in early childhood literacy.
