Rooms
Rooms: Building a Purpose-Driven Brand From the Ground Up
Rooms is a queer-led functional mushroom project based in Oakland and Portland, dedicated to expanding access to holistic health support for communities that have historically lacked it. Their mission centers on trust, quality, and community care, offering wellness products that empower people on their individual health journeys while fostering a broader culture of education and mutual support.
As Creative Director, I partnered with Rooms from day one to develop the brand’s complete visual identity. This work included naming, logo development, a flexible visual system, and foundational collateral that defined the brand’s tone and presence. Through product design, packaging, photography direction, video content, social storytelling, and printed materials, we built a visual language that feels clear, accessible, and deeply aligned with the community it serves.
Looking ahead to the anticipated legalization of psychedelics, I also led the creation of future-forward packaging systems and educational materials. These resources prepare the Rooms community to navigate upcoming changes with confidence, ensuring the brand remains a trusted guide in an evolving landscape. The result is a cohesive, mission-aligned identity built to grow alongside the movement it supports..
